Rotor Inspection

  1. Perform an induction test on the rotor coil. Measure the resistance between slip rings .

    Standard resistance: Approx. 1.7Ω

  2. Perform an insulation test on the rotor coil. Check the insulation between the rotor core and the slip ring .

    Standard resistance:  0.1 MΩ or above
