Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the driver airbag module.
(Refer to Restraint - "DRIVER AIRBAG (DAB) MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING ")
Remove the steering wheel.
(Refer to MDPS COLUMN AND HOUSING Steering System)
Remove the steering wheel cover (A) after loosening the screws.

Loosen the screws after disconnecting the steering wheel remote control switch connector (A).

Remove the remote control switches (A).
