Monitoring DTC Status

  1. Connect GDS to "DATA LINK CONNECTOR (DLC)".
  2. IG key "UN", Engine "OFF".
  3. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)  " with GUS.
  4. Monitor the diagnostic trouble code and present of the trouble code.
  5. Erase the UTC and operate the vehicle within UTC Enable conditions in General information.

  6. Is the UTC output again?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in CLU's connector or CLU memory was not cleared after repair.

      → Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

      → Repair or replace as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
