DTC B1210-00: Front Left Sensor Fault: General Description

"FRONT PARKING ASSIST SENSOR LH" detects obstacles in the front left side and sends first phase, second phase, third phase warning signals that differ by distance of obstacles to BCM* via LIN communication.

BCM monitors signals from the sensor and determines warning phase and activates buzzer or sends data to cluster to display to warn driver. Warning methods are different by vehicle options.
