Repair Procedures: Inspection: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the resonator and the air intake hose.

    (Refer to INTAKE AND EXHAUST SYSTEM - 2.0L )

  3. Remove the intercooler inlet pipe & hose assembly (A).

  4. Disconnect the ETC module connector (A).
  5. Disconnect the coolant hoses (B).
  6. Remove the installation bolts (C), and then remove the ETC module from the engine.
