Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Release the residual pressure in fuel line.

    (Refer to the Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ")

  2. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  3. Remove the second row seat.

    (Refer to REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY Body )

  4. Remove the rear seat LH air duct (A) after loosening the mounting nuts.

  5. Remove the seat cable bracket (A) after loosening the mounting nuts.

  6. Remove the fuel pump service cover (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

  7. Disconnect the fuel feed tube quick-connector (A), fuel pressure sensor connector (B), fuel pump control module (C) and fuel tank pressure sensor (D).

  8. Remove the fuel pump plate cover (A) by using the special service tool (B) [No.: 09310-B8100].

  9. Remove the fuel pump (A) from the fuel tank.
