Current data Analysis
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- IG key "ON"/Ready, Transmission Shift Lever "P" range.
- Select "Current Data" with GDS.
- Operate the vehicle within DTC Enable conditions in General information.
- Monitor "Generator (HSG) W Phase Current Sensor Offset" parameter.
Reference Data
GENERATOR (HSG) W PHASE CURRENT SENSOR OFFSET REFERENCENormal □ Generator (HSG) W Phase Current Sensor Offset: -7.5A~7.5A Not Learned □ Generator (HSG) W Phase Current Sensor Offset: Over 7.5A Abnormal □ Generator (HSG) W Phase Current Sensor Offset: Below -7.5A - Is the displayed current data normal?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by Poor Contact in GCU*'s connector.
→ Repair or replace as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known-good GCU (HPCU)* and then check for proper operation.
→ If the problem is corrected, replace GCU (HPCU)*.
→ Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Fault is intermittent caused by Poor Contact in GCU*'s connector.
NOTE:
GCU*: "HYBRID INVERTER"
GCU (HPCU)*: "HYBRID POWER CONTROL UNIT_HPCU"
GCU (HPCU)*: "HYBRID POWER CONTROL UNIT_HPCU"
NOTE:
After HPCU is replaced or reinstalled, must perform the following.
- Perform "Motor/HSG Resolver Calibration" procedure in "HCU/LDC" system →"Vehicle S/W Management"
- Fill the coolant, and then perform "Actuation Test" → [EWP Actuation] and circulate the coolant.
WARNING:
Non-compliance with the following instructions can induce death or injury caused by electric shock.
- Carefully read and follow service information instructions.
- Wear insulated gloves, safety glasses and use insulated tools for your safety.
- Turn the ignition switch off and Disconnect ground cable of auxiliary battery and Remove the safety plug.
- Wait for more than 5 minutes so that the inverter capacitor can be naturally discharged.
- Check high voltage terminal on Power Relay Assembly is lower than 30V.
