DTC P0A1B: Drive Motor 'A' Control Module: General Description
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
There are two "HYBRID INVERTER" inside HPCU*. MCU* inverts BMS* DC Power into 3 Phase AC Power, and MCU* provides 3 Phase AC Power to a Drive Motor when it receives the control signal from HCU*, whereas GCU* provides it to HSG*.
MCU* and GCU* invert 3 Phase Power which is supplied from the engine to DC Power and store it in the high voltage battery of BSM. They invert or provide the power to the Drive Motor and the Generator via 3 Phase Power Cable.
