Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect scantool to DLC (Data Link Cable).
  2. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
  3. Monitor "Ignition Output Value" parameter on the "Current Data" with GDS.

  4. Are the parameters displayed correctly?

    YES 

    • This can be an intermittent fault caused by poor contact of the sensor's and/or ECM(PCM)'s connector. Or, ECM(PCM) memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace the relevant component(s) as necessary, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair ".

    NO 

    • Go to Wiring Inspection procedure below
