Repair Procedures: Removal

CAUTION:
  1. After replacing with a new Power Liftgate Module, check for DTC code at all times.

    If DTC code B24B0 exists, perform Power Liftgate Mode Change.

    (Refer to: Power Liftgate Module - "TROUBLESHOOTING ").

  2. After replacing with a new Power Liftgate Module, perform the system initialization.

    (Refer to: Power Liftgate Module - "TROUBLESHOOTING ").

  3. Before delivery to customer, operate the power liftgate to be sure that there is no warning sound.
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the Rear Left Luggage Side Trim.

    (Refer to: Body - "Interior Trim")

  3. Remove the Power Liftgate Unit Connectors after loosening Mounting Nuts (2EA).
