Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the driver air bag module.

    (Refer to "DRIVER AIRBAG (DAB) MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING ")

  3. Remove the steering wheel.

    (Refer to "STEERING WHEEL ")

  4. Loosen the screws and then remove the cover (A).

  5. Disconnect the steering wheel remote control switch connectors (A).

  6. Loosen the screw and then remove the steering wheel remote control switch assembly (A), being cautious of fixed clip.

  7. Remove the smart cruise control switch (A).

  8. Installation is reverse order of removal.
