Repair procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  1. Remove the front seat assembly.

    (Refer to "FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY ")

  2. Remove the front seat shield outer cover.

    (Refer to "FRONT SEAT SHIELD OUTER COVER ")

  3. Push the lock pin (B), remove the front seat headrest (A).

  4. Remove the protector (A).

  5. Disconnect the front seat heater connector (A).

  6. Push the clips (B) from the front seat back board (A).
    CAUTION:
    • Push the middle area of clip using the flat head screwdriver.
    • Be careful not to damage the clip.

  7. After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the air ventilation seat duct (A).

  8. Push the protector (A) by the front seat back frame.

  9. Pull out the headrest guides (A) while pinching the end of the guides, and remove them.

  11. Remove the front seat back cover (A) from the front seat frame.

  12. After removing the velcro tape (A) on the front of seat back and remove the front seat back cover (B).

  13. Installation is the reverse of removal.
    NOTE:
    • Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips.
