Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

    Tightening torque: 

    4.0 ~ 6.0 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 3.0 ~ 4.4 lb-ft)

  2. Remove the steering wheel.

    (Refer to "STEERING WHEEL ")

  3. Loosen the screws and then remove the cover (A).

  4. Disconnect the steering wheel remote control switch connectors (A).

  5. Loosen the screw and then remove the steering wheel remote control switch assembly (A), being cautions of fixed clip.

  6. Remove the smart cruise control switch (A).

  7. Installation is the reverse of removal.
