Repair Procedures: Removal

- Turn Ignition Switch OFF and disconnect the Negative (-) Battery Cable.
- Remove the Lower Crash Pad.
(Refer to: CRASH PAD ).
- Remove the knee airbag.
(Refer to AIRBAG MODULE )
- Disconnect the Stop Lamp Switch Connector (A).
- Pull the locking plate (A) as indicated by the arrow.
- Turn stop lamp switch 45° counterclockwise and remove it.
- Inspect a removed stop lamp switch along the below procedures.
- Confirm a normal connection with terminal part
- A confirmation can be made to see if the connector has been secured properly and if a connection mark is present.
- Perform the inspection of parts resistance.STOP LAMP SWITCH RESISTANCE

- Confirm a normal connection with terminal part
