Repair procedures: Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the crash pad lower panel.

    (Refer to "CRASH PAD ")

  3. Remove the BCM unit and the SMARTRA unit (A).

  4. Remove the SMARTRA unit (A) from the bracket with loosening a shear bolt (B).

  5. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure.
