Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to "DATA LINK CONNECTOR(DLC)".
  2. IG key "ON", Engine "OFF".
  3. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" with GDS.
  4. Monitor the diagnostic trouble code and present of the trouble code.
  5. Erase the DTC.

  6. Is the DTC outputted again?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in "IPS CONTROL MODULE" or "INSTRUMENT CLUSTER"'s connector or was repaired and "IPS CONTROL MODULE" memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
    • Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
