General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Parking switch is On
  • Vehicle speed from CLU is above 3km/h IGN ON
  • Ignition switch is On
  1. Poor Connection in harness
  2. Faulty Parking Switch
  3. Faulty Smartkey Unit
Enable Conditions
  • Button start system equipped
  • Ignition ON
  • Parking switch ON
  • Vehicle Speed above 3km/h
Threshold value
  • Parking switch is ON when signal voltage is below 2V
  • Parking switch is OFF when signal voltage is above 7V
Failsafe
  • Parking switch is On for 10 seconds with Ignition On & Vehicle speed above 3km/h
DTC Erasing Time
  • Ignition OFF
  • Parking switch is OFF
  • Vehicle speed is below 3km/h

    DTC erasing immediately with above 3 conditions meet
