Tailgate Open Switch

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the tailgate trim.
(Refer to TAIL GATE TRIM .
Remove the tailgate back panel.
(Refer to TAIL GATE BACK PANEL .
Loosen the tailgate switch mounting screws (2EA).

Remove the tailgate switch (A) after separating the license lamp wiring.
