Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect (-) terminal from the battery.
  2. Loosen the nut (B) and then remove the shift cable (C) by removing the clip (A).

    NOTE: Do not reuse the clip (A).
  3. Remove the console assembly. (Refer to "CONSOLE ")
  4. Take off the clip (A) and remove the shift cable assembly (C) by pressing the guide (B).

  5. Remove the retainer (A).
