Monitor Scantool Data

  1. IG KEY "ON" & Engine "OFF".
  2. Erase DTC after connecting GDS.
  3. Check Smart key status, if DTC is retrieved.

    Illustration above shows that 2 (two) FOB key is registered, Smart Key ECM is learnt status.

  4. Is the Smart key PCM/ECM learnt status?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in Smart key PCM/ECM and/or PCM/ECM's connector or was repaired and Smart key PCM/ECM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
