Component Inspection

  1. Replace battery sensor.
  2. IG "OFF"
  3. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  4. Clear DTC and Test-drive under enable conditions above-mentioned.
  5. Does the GDS show DTC "P1566"?

    YES 

    • Substitute with a known - good ECM/PCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace ECM/PCM and go to VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR  procedure

    NO 

    • Substitute with a known - good battery sensor and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace battery sensor and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
