DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the spark timing
  1. Faulty Ignition Coil
  2. Faulty ECM/PCM
Enable Conditions
  • After catalyst heating is active is higher than 3 sec
  • Vehicle is not rapidly accelerating or decelerating
  • Engine is running 55%
Threshold Value
  • Target spark efficiency is over threshold greater than actual spark efficiency
Diagnostic Time
  • 8 sec
Mil On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
