General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • This code detects a continuous short to ground or open in either the circuit or the sensor (0-100%)
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short to ground in power circuit
  3. Open or short to ground in signal circuit
  4. Faulty APS
  5. Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold value
  • APS2 < 0.125V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 1 Drive Cycle
