Signal Circuit Inspection

IG KEY "OFF".
Disconnect FPS connector.
IG KEY "ON" & ENG "OFF".
Measure the voltage between signal terminal of FPS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx 5V

Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair Short to ground in signal circuit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
