DESCRIPTION

The 2013 Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport Navigation System comes with an SD Map Card. Only the SD Card that is provided with the vehicle should be used with that Navigation System. DO NOT INSERT ANY OTHER SD CARD.

When the Navigation system starts up with an SD Card containing Hyundai formatted map information, the Navigation system will become paired to that initial/first inserted SD Card . See Notice below.

If a different SD card is inserted into the Navigation System, the below error message will be displayed on the navigation screen.

If the message below is displayed, the initial/first inserted SD card needs to be re-inserted and left inside the Navigation system or the Navigation system will need to be replaced (replacement for this error is not covered under warranty ).

During all Navigation system operation (inspections or demonstrations) use only the SD Map Card that was delivered with the vehicle.

NOTE: Santa Fe Navigation systems are shipped in ready mode.
The first SD Card inserted will become paired to the Navigation system.
The Navigation will only operate when the first inserted SD card version has been detected.

If an SD Map Card was not delivered with the vehicle or the SD card was damaged, a new SD Card must be ordered; DO NOT INSERT ANY OTHER SD CARD until the replacement is delivered.

Applicable Vehicles: 2013 Model Year Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport with Navigation System (NC/AN)

Navigation Manual is located inside the glove compartment.

SD Map card is delivered with the vehicle inside the Navigation Manual packet.
