Main Crash Pad Replacement
CAUTION:
- When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Remove the following items;
- Front seat.
- Cluster.
- Audio assembly.
- Glove box.
- Crash pad side cover.
- Front pillar trim.
- Remove the crash pad side garnish (A).
- Using a screwdriver, remove the center speaker grill (A).
- Loosen the mounting screws, remove the center speaker (A).
- Disconnect the connector (B).
- Loosen the mounting screws, remove the crash pad under cover (A).
- Disconnect the passenger's air bag connector (A).
- Remove the passenger's air bag mounting bolts.
- Loosen the mounting screws, remove the crash pad lower panel (A).
- Disconnect the connector (A).
- Disconnect the connector (A).
- Remove the auto photo and auto light sensor (B) from crash pad upper side by using screwdriver or remover then disconnect the connector (A).
- Loosen the mounting bolts and nuts, then remove the main crash pad (B).
- Installation is the reverse of removal.NOTE:
- Make sure the crash pad fits onto the guide pins correctly.
- Before tightening the bolts, make sure the crash pad wire harnesses are not pinched.
- Make sure the connectors are plugged in properly, and the antenna lead is connected properly.
- Enter the anti-theft code for the radio, then enter the customer's radio station presets.
