Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the hazard lamp switch assembly (A).

    NOTE: Take care not to damage and scratch the hazard lamp switch assembly and its related parts.
    Apply the protective tapes to the hazard lamp switch assembly and its related parts.
  3. Disconnect the connectors (A).

  4. Remove the center fascia panel (A).

  5. Remove the AVN assembly (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

  6. Disconnect the AVN connectors and cable (A), then remove the AVN unit completely.

    NOTE: When the compact disc is not ejected, do not remove it forcibly.
