Check DTC status
1. Check DTC on the ECM with GDS
2. Check if there is any DTC related to ECM.
3. Perform troubleshooting for the DTC, referring to the Troubleshooting .
4. Repair or replace as necessary after erasing DTC with GDS.
5. Check DTC on SMK Module side and erase the DTC with GDS.
6. Is the DTC gone after erasing it with the GDS?
  YES
  - Check for poor connection between harness connector and Smart Key Module or ECM
    Thoroughly check connector for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deformation, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
  NO
  - Go to TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION .
