Actuator Test
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- IG key "ON"
- Click "DTC Status" and erase that "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "Complete".
Then, Select the "Actuation Test" mode on the GDS.
- Inspect operating status 2~3 times of Echo pedal warning mode
- Does a IAP operate normally?
YES
Fault is intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and IAP ECU memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
Substitute intelligent accelerator pedal assembly with a known - good and check for proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, go to check for the system operates normally
