Component Inspection

MFSW internal fault check
1. IGN "ON" & ENG "OFF"
2. After connect GDS, select "DTC Analysis" menu.
3. Substitute with a known - good MFSW.

4. Is the DTC relevant to light switch able to be erased?
  YES
  
  Substitute with a known - good MFSW and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the component and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
  
  NO
  
  Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
