Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. IG KEY "ON" or Engine "ON".
  3. Monitor the "ECO-P switch" parameter on the GDS.
  4. repeats a using a GDS ECO-P switch on/off, check the sensor output.

    Specification:  ON/OFF change to use of ECO-P switch.

  5. Is parameter within specifications?

    YES 

    Fault is intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and IAP ECU memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.

    Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
