Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery sensor connector (A) then battery negative terminal (B) and positive terminal (C).

    Tightening torque 

    (-) terminal: 3.9 ~ 5.9 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 ~ 4.3 lb-ft)

    (+) terminal: 9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

  2. Disconnect the vent hose connector (A) from the battery air vent hole.

  3. Remove the mounting bracket (A) and then remove the battery (B).

    Tightening torque:  9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

  4. Installation is the reverse order of removal.
    CAUTION: When installing the battery, fix the mounting bracket on the tray correctly.
