Repair procedures: Adjustment

Adjusting method for T/M control cable 

1. Set room side lever and T/M side lever to "N" position.
2. Connect room side lever and shift cable.
3. Connect T/M side lever to cable in a following orders.
   1. Push cable (A) lightly to "F" direction shown in the illustration to eliminate FREE PLAY of cable after mounting the nut (B) lightly.

   2. Tighten adjusting nut (B).

      Tightening torque: 

      7.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

4. After adjusting according to (2)-(4). Check to be sure that this part operates surely at each range of T/M side corresponding to each position of room lever.
