Repair procedures: Replacement

  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal (A) first, then the positive terminal (A).

  2. Disconnect the alternator connector (A) and "B" terminal cable from the alternator. Loosen the chip (B).

  3. Remove the adjusting bolt (A), mounting bolt (B), the alternator belt (C) and the alternator mounting bracket (D).
  4. Pull out the through bolt, then remove the alternator (E).

  5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
  6. Adjust the alternator belt tension after installation.
