Check PIC Immobilizer Module

IG KEY: OFF.
PIC IMMOBILIZER MODULE connector: Connect.
IG KEY: OFF, ENG : ON.
Measure voltage between Signal (Park Position Switch) of PIC IMMOBILIZER MODULE harness connector and chassis ground.
* Check the voltage change of signal line with operating park position switch.

Specification : park position switch → below 0V, OFF → approx. 12V
Is "voltage" display near the specified value?
YES
- Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
  Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check for the Park Position Switch or component of SPORT MODE SWITCH.
- Substitute with a known-good "PIC IMMOBILIZER MODULE" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "PIC IMMOBILIZER MODULE" and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
