Variant Coding

  1. Check for improper installation of EMS/TCU/ESC.
  2. Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  3. Ignition "ON".
  4. Go in variant coding (Fig 1).
  5. Perform variant code. (Press the REST button-Fig 1).
  6. Disconnect scantool.
  7. Ignition "OFF" and then ignition "ON". Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " Procedure.
