DTC P0507 Idle Air Control System-Rpm Higher Than Expected: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION

DTC Strategy	Monitor deviation between target idle speed and actual engine speed	A stuck or binding throttle plate. Maladjustment of the accelerator cable. Contact resistance in connectors. Faulty ISC valve.
Enable Conditions	Coolant temperature > 74°C (165°F) Throttle angle: closed and Vehicle speed = 0 (10 sec. Continuously) 20 seconds after engine start. Engine load < 1000 mg/rev. 10V < Battery voltage < 16V No relevant failure
Threshold Value	Engine Speed - Nominal Idle Speed > 200 RPM (Engine speed too High)
Diagnostic Time	16 seconds.
