Ignition Switch: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the shroud (Steering column cover).
  3. Remove the ignition switch (A) after loosening the screw (B) with IG ON and disconnecting the 6-pin connector (C).

  4. Remove the steering column cover.
  5. Remove the door warning switch and key illumination lamp (A) after loosening the screw and disconnecting the 6-pin connector.

  6. If it is necessary to remove the key lock cylinder (A), remove the key lock cylinder (A) after pushing lock pin (B) with key in ACC position.
