Crash Pad Main Replacement
NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Remove the following items.
- Front seat assembly (See REPLACEMENT ).
- Cluster facia panel, CLUSTER (See CLUSTER FACIA PANEL REPLACEMENT ).
- Lower crash pad panel (See LOWER CRASH PAD PANEL REPLACEMENT ).
- Glove box (See GLOVE BOX REPLACEMENT ).
- Side cover (See COVER REPLACEMENT ).
- Front pillar trim (See INTERIOR TRIM ).
- Center facia upper, lower cover (See CENTER FACIA PANEL REPLACEMENT ).
- Disconnect the passenger's air bag connector(A).
- Loosen the bolt's and nuts then remove the main crash pad assembly(B).
- Installation is the reverse of removal.NOTE:
- Make sure the crash pad fits on to the guide pins correctly.
- Before tightening the bolts, make sure the crash pad wire harnesses are not pinched.
- Make sure the connectors are plugged in properly, and the antenna lead is connected properly.
