Ground Circuit Inspection

Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
Disconnect the "INPUT SPEED SENSOR" connector.
Measure resistance between terminal "1" of the INPUT SPEED SENSOR harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: approx. 0 Ω

Is resistance within specification ?
YES
- Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
NO
- Check for open in harness. Repair as necessary and refer to VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR .
- If ground circuit in harness is OK, refer to 2 of COMPONENT INSPECTION .
