Front Power Window Motor Inspection

  1. Remove the inside handle mounting screw.
  2. Loosen the door trim mounting screws (7EA), remove the trim using a trim remover, and then disconnect the power window switch connector.
    NOTE: When using a trim remover, wrap it with a piece of cloth so it will not damage the painted surface.

  3. Disconnect the 2P connector from the motor.

  4. Connect the motor terminals directly to battery voltage (12V) and check that the motor operates smoothly. Next, reverse the polarity and check that the motor operates smoothly in the reverse direction. If the operation is abnormal, replace the motor.

  5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
