Triple-Pressure Switch
Disconnect triple-pressure switch harness connector. Install manifold gauge set. Observe gauge reading. Check continuity between terminals No. 2 (Brown/Black wire) and No. 1 (Blue/Black wire) of triple-pressure switch.
- For high pressure, continuity should not exist when pressure reaches 426-484 psi (30-34 kg/cm2 ). Continuity should exist when pressure decreases to 341-398 psi (24-28 kg/cm2 ).
- For low pressure, continuity should not exist when pressure drops to 26-31 psi (1.8-2.2 kg/cm2 ). Continuity should exist when pressure rises to 30-36 psi (2.1-2.5 kg/cm2 ).
- For medium pressure operation, check continuity between terminals No. 3 (Blue/Black wire) and No. 4 (Yellow/Orange wire) of triple-pressure switch. Continuity should exist when pressure increases to 209-232 psi (14.7-16.3 kg/cm2 ). Continuity should not exist when pressure decreases to 90-124 psi (6.3-8.7 kg/cm2 ).
