General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  • Open or short circuit to battery
  • Contact resistance in connectors
  • Faulty OTS
Enable Condition
  • 5 minutes after engine start if coolant temperature < -10°C (14°F)
Threshold Value
  • Oil temperature < -36°C (-33°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • 5 seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
