Coolant Temperature Sensor: Installation

  1. Tighten the coolant temperature sensor to the specified torque after applying the sealant to the screw area.
    1. Recommend sealant : Threebond No. 1324N or LOCTITE 262

    Tightening torque 

    1. The coolant temperature sensor: 20-40 N.m (200-400 kg.cm, 14-29 lb.ft)
  2. Connect the sensor to the harness.
  3. Connect the ground cable to the battery.
  4. Refill the engine coolant.
