DTC P0300: Random Misfire Detected: Notes

NOTE: Battery voltage is applied to both ignition coils when ignition switch is in ON or START position. ECM energizes primary ignition coils by switching ground circuit on and off. Coil No. 1 fires cylinders No. 1 and 4. Coil No. 2 fires cylinders No. 2 and 3. ECM controls an ignition power transistor that provides a switching circuit to ground for energizing primary ignition coils.
