Transaxle Range (TR) Switch (A/T)
- TR switch is mounted to transaxle, near shift lever mechanism. Turn ignition off. Disconnect TR switch. Set TR switch to "P" position. Check for continuity between specified terminals. See TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH TESTING table. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, ensure TR switch is adjusted correctly. Replace TR switch if adjustment is correct.
- Turn ignition off. Set TR switch to "N" position. Check for continuity between specified terminals. See TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH TESTING table. See Fig 1 or Fig 2
. If continuity exists, no problem is found at this time. If continuity does not exist, ensure TR switch is adjusted correctly. Replace TR switch if adjustment is correct.
