Bleeding Procedure
NOTE:
There is no special bleeding procedure for ABS. ABS bleeding procedure is same for conventional brake system.
- If master cylinder is new or reservoir is empty, bleed master cylinder first. Connect a plastic hose to right rear wheel bleeder screw. Place other end of hose in container partly filled with fresh brake fluid.
- Open bleeder valve and have assistant slowly press brake pedal to floor. Close bleeder valve and release brake pedal. Repeat procedure and bleed until no air bubbles are seen in container. Bleed remaining wheels starting with left front, left rear and right front in that order. Refill brake fluid reservoir.
