Sonata 2.0L

Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool to DLC located at lower crash pad, below steering column. If a scan tool is not used, measure voltage between terminals No. 1 and 3. Turn ignition on, engine off. TP sensor voltage should be 400-1000mV. On a scan tool, read TP sensor voltage output. If voltage is out of specification, loosen TP sensor mounting screws and adjust by turning TP sensor. Clockwise to increase voltage, counterclockwise to decrease voltage. Tighten screws securely after adjustment.
