| DTC 57 | HIGH BATTERY VOLTAGE |
- Check fuse No. 11 in instrument panel fuse box. If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is blown, check wiring harness for cause of blown fuse. Repair as necessary and replace fuse.
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect ABS ECM connector. ABS ECM is located on right side of trunk, behind trim panel. Reconnect negative battery cable. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between terminals No. 27 and No. 50. See Figure . If voltage is not 9-14 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 9-14 volts, no fault is indicated at this time. Fault may be intermittent.
- Turn ignition off. Measure resistance between ground and terminals No. 26, 27 and 51 of ABS ECM connector. If all readings are 0.5 ohm or less, locate and repair open circuit between fuse No. 11 and ABS ECM connector. If any reading is more than 0.5 ohm, locate and repair open wire between ground and ABS ECM connector.
