EGR Temperature Sensor

Located on the EGR valve, the EGR temperature sensor is a thermistor that produces and transmits a signal to the ECM. When EGR malfunction occurs, EGR temperature decreases. The ECM then lights the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL).
